YOuth Leadership Program RAWKS!!

Today's my second day attending the Toastmaster's Youth Leadership Program and it is also my second day being the vice-president AKA time-keeper = þ . Yeah.. being the vice-president IS being the time-keeper. I prepared my speech at home and memorized it. Lynette (my boss, the president) told me that 4 of us, the president, vice-president, secretary and the sarge have to reach there at 5.45.

When I reached Hyatt hotel, the location of this program, many people were there early and Lynette was later than me..WAHAHA!! I didn't know what I was supposed to do. I walked here and there.. blar blar blar.. Madam assistant coordinator told me to get the light thingy that looks like a tiny traffic light for the timer from our seargant-at-arm, Joon Ju. So I asked lo : " Sarge, where's the "Traffic light?". Then he said that it was spoilt!!!! I have to use some colour cards... Then I said " What bout the bells? Do I have to ring them with my mouth?? RRIng~~RRIng~~" HAHahaha!!

This time, I did the timer by myself that means, no help.. OK lar.. got lar.. some help loh..
Anyway, the assistant coordinator showed us a letter from.. guess who.. SHEAH LIN!! In the letter, she mentioned that one of her friend attended this program and it was me..hehehehhe..


I'm the third speaker today... wah.. Nervous like hell.. All kind of thoughts ran through mind : What if I talked too fast? or too slow?? What if I paused for a long time? What if I didnt pronouce properly?? What if.. What if... But when I stood in front, All my thoughts jz vanished, it's like I nvr had them. The assistant coordinator introduced me wrongly. she said that i'm a form 4 student from some school. So I corrected it lo. Then I procceeded with my speech. I started saying a really funny story bout my baby cousin. """He woke up one morning looking for his daddy. His sister told him that daddy was out working and he asked: “Why must daddy work?” Then she replied: “Daddy must work to earn money. If he has no money, how can he buy you clothes and toys?? How can he bring you out to McDonalds to eat your favourite French fries?” Do you know what he said? He said :” Daddy buy money loh!!”"""

Haha~~ cute right?? then I continued my speech bout my ambitionSS. After that, I had to keep the timing for all of the speakers. I forgot to put up the cards for some of em.. =P Some I even start the timing a little late.. =P >.< There's this guy called Adam who was damn funny lar. Appparently, There are many Manchester united fans there..haha

After the break, The evaluation starts.. It turns out that I need more eye contact and body gesture... Guess I forgot bout them.. Some evaluators said that their speakers have long pauses... So do they!! Hahaha.. I think that that's really funny.

After that, some guest recited their speech. Then it's time for the group disccusion. I'm in team1 together with Joon Ju, Raga, Wen Jie, Qi Xian, and one more guy shortform YS...erm.. forgot his name.. paiseh..Our Topic was : " You have received a scholarship to study overseas. How will you cope with missing your family and friends?" We chose Joon Ju as the leader and Raga as the secretary (because he was too quiet and we want him to talk more) , meaning he have to jock down about our disccusion and present it . But because of Wen Jie, YS, Joon Ju and I, our disccusion became super lame. I don't know why,but i think i'm the lamest girl there. Qi Xian and Raga was as silent as the wallpaper..hehehe. Obviously, if u miss your family, u'll communicate with them, phone call is too expensive but Joon Ju keep saying :"Money doesn't matter!" hahaha..When we used his words against himself, he said " I where got say such thing?!" He repeated the " money doesn't matter" line sooo many times man.. It's very funny! Raga didnt write down anything because we were talking too much and he was very quiet. We did a last minute work. I became the seccretary having to present the thing.. with lack of preparations.. Luckily, Joon Ju and Wen Jie helped me too. I talked bout family, Joon Ju talked bout Friends and Wen Jie talked bout FOOD!! his favourite topic i guess..hahaha.

I'll have to evaluate Kharis' speech tomorrow.. Kinda nervous because I cant rehearse it.. We'll need to do Table Topic tomorrow also. Table Topic means, they'll give us a title and we'll have to give a speech on the spot with the least preparations.. OMG!!!!!!!!! DIE LAR!!

As you can see, I had alot of fun there......Ooopsie~~ I think that this is getting too long.. no one may read it also.. so I think that I'll stop here..

Today i woke up late. 10.30 i think. My mom, sis and Catalina was baking cheese cake. Mmmmmmmm~~. After finish baking, my mom said to me "Next time I don't wanna bake cake anymore. When i bake, u didn't come and learn. I bought ingredients d.. U dunno how to learn yourself." OMG!! Lidat also must get angry arh!?!?! I Woke Up LATE!! What do you want me to do?? You didn't wake me up right?? Its not my fault!!

Then after that, we made meatloaf!! yummmmmmmmm~~~~~~~~~~I played with Catalina and Xuan. OMG.. everytime i thought " I should write my blog... " but when i actually do it, I'm so darn lazy.~!!! Anyway, it was fun.. then i edited the "shows" we made in KL also. I actually wrote subtitle for every single thing they said.. Hardwordking much?? hehehe

After that, we made chicken pie.. I think we baked the entire day. Then we got ready for Taekwondo. Catalina followed us too. When we reach RJCC, Heng Li who was Catalina's cousin stared to shout(softly) :"Why's my cousin here???!! Why is she here??!?! WHY!??" haahahah.. dunnno what's his prob lar.. I don't understand y they don really like to c each other.. if my cousin was there, i would love to go..Catalina joined in the second halve. All Seniors teach our new juniors their tegauk. I teach them till half dead man.. It's not that they are hard to teach.. but i am. hehehe. Then Hengli helped Xuan to teach Catalina how to kick. walao.. He chase after us and kick us....crazy! Then he taught us koreok. Man.. i forgot how to do d.. He has his on "style" while doing the koreok.. very weird indeed...... =P

After taekwondo, While waiting for ma to fetch us, I saw uncle Oh, Uncle Shien and Uncle Tony. They were like " Wah Black belt! Great. Come show us" "Punch...come kick me.." hahah damn funny man! Then uncle Tony pointed his finger onto his cheek like provoking me to punch him.. then i faked.. Then Xuan sayed "CAT FIGHT!!!" So i showed my "claw" hahahahaa.. OMG!! It was very very very funny!! Uncle Tony and Uncle Shien also tried to kick.. damn funny!! And Uncle Tony's laughter was damn funny. It's like "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !" I can't explain lar... But it was, I repeat again, DAMN FUNNY!!

I made the pie pastry when i reached home. and i told ma and pa wat happened jz now...hahahhaha!!!!! Xuan went to sleepover in Cat's house this time.... So I'll b alone with my bro coz my dad comes home late and my mom has some party..But he's studying..So I'm damn bored.......... pif... Ok.. That's it... I'm out..
