Hie.
I'm just gonna use this whenever I want to.
Like,
Just to get things out of my mind.
Only when I need to put things into words.
No story.
No excitement.
Nothing.

Call it a semi-public thought of my own.

Future Paid For

How queer the path leading to what is up ahead
Perchance misleading for those who walk with dread
However much confusing no white cloth shall be displayed
For the future is determined by the sum that one has paid

Friends

Random post on Friends
No, not the series XD
But I guess they're related

Friends
They are everything, are they not?
Name me a person who has not a single friend at all
Not one

Friends
They come in all forms, shapes and sizes
(Haha, sounds like some kind of product)
They come into our lives
Whether we acknowledge their existence or not

Frankly
Whether we like them or not
Acknowledge them or not
Appreciate them or not
Love them or not
Hate them or not
They are our friends
Good or bad

Some friends are just there for your popularity
Some are there for you out of sympathy
Some just stick with you to get to know your siblings
Some stick with you to get to know you
Sometimes they just think you're cool, hot
(Warm?)
Some likes you lame
Some just take advantage of you
Some are there for you whenever you need them
Some are there to lend you a shoulder whenever you're down
Some to just speak of dreams and ideals and to not make any sense at all
Some are just there for you
Only you

But the most difficult friends you can ever find are those who care not only for you
But also for your family
Your siblings
Someone who doesn't go to your house just to hang out with you
But visits your siblings
Asks them out when possible
Takes them out
Hangs out with them as if there's nothing else better to do
Takes care of them
Just to help out
Just because they care
Even when you're not around

Now,
That's a true friend

MJ RIP

"I love him. So. Much"
The last few spoken words coming out from his daughter's heart melted mine
After more than a week of his death, only did i feel the tears burning my eyes
Together with my cousin and sister.
I closed my eyes and sang
'Heal the world, make it a better place.'
Tears streamed down my cheeks.

Why did he leave?

The one who made people faint
Made people go into hysterics
Even made guys cry
Just by singing

The King of Pop,
To me,
When I was too young to understand who he is
He was known as "The-Guy-Who-Makes-People-Faint"
"The-Guy-With-The-Super-High-Voice"
"The-Guy-Who-Spins-Around-Like-Crazy-But-Never-Gets-Dizzy"
I didn't know who he was back then
But I didn't care
I loved dancing around the living room with my family, watching one of his videos
I miss that
I love trying so hard to unsuccessfully learn his moves

Remembering the time when his song, Beat It, i think
was played on the radio
My mom immediately stopped the car, in the garage
Turned the radio on at Maximum volume
And all of us started dancing around the car

Thinking back on all the songs I've been listening to during my childhood,
His are the only songs I can remember listening to
Seriously

Seeing him doing his moonwalk,
The "Zombie" move on Thriller,
Inspired me to dance
Made me love dancing

Every year,
We have dinner with my maternal side family in KL
And every year
Without fail
His songs were played
His moves were "amateuredly" danced
Without fail

Once, while we were strolling around some park in KL,
I even thought that I sorta-met him
Just because I heard someone singing his songs
I was determined to go to his concert
To see him in action
But fate played Devil
Leaving my dream, a dream

Eng Li and I screamed at the TV while watching one of his videos
I think it was the first time I ever screamed at the TV that loud before
Even louder than at cute guys

Watching the Tribute,
It got me thinking
Why is it when someone dies
Only do we realise how much they mean to us?
Listening to what the people have to say about MJ on stage,
Got me thinking,
Why is it when he dies that they say such stuff?
Trying to sing along with the crowd on TV
Got me thinking
Why didn't I learn all his songs?
Before it was too late

We should have memorial services before people die
Say only good things about them
Before it is too late
Instead of saying "I will always love you"
Knowing the dead can't hear
We should say "I will always love you"
Knowing the living still hears us

I'm sorry for not knowing all your songs
I'm sorry for not knowing your dance moves
I'm sorry for not being a fanatic, learning everything about you

This shows that
To be a fan,
One need not know all the lyrics
One need not know the songs
One need not know the dance moves
One need not know the story
One just have to believe
Believe in everything he does
Knowing to differentiate the truth from the false
Knowing that he let his heart out in everything
Knowing that the accusations are fake
Defend him when others say he's a gay phedophile
Defend him when others say he bleached his skin
WHAT?!

He's not the King of Pop
He's the GOD of Pop
He not only changed the world of music
He changed ours

I was, am and always will be
His fan
No matter what

"I'll make my kids love you
My grandkids love you
My great-grand kids love you
And so on and on"

He was not just one in a million
not one in a billion
He was the only one in this world

Maybe he left
But he is still here with us

Love,
Lily

Life For Granted

"Your dad loves me very much, he is a great man. But he was never a romantic one. For our anniversaries, he got me a novel, blouses, once in a while. He even got me a robot vacuum once. It never did struck him at all that flowers would do. It never did struck him that I like flowers. So, anniversary after anniversary, I waited. Hoping that one day, I'd see him holding a bouquet of flowers. After years and years of waiting, I got fed up. Finally, I marched up to him and told him the smartest thing I have ever said to him: 'I. Want. Flowers.' And BAM!! He gave me flowers."
--->Agak-agak extraction/quotation/what-what-tion from 90210??

Men are not psychics
Just because something's on our mind doesn't mean that they'll know what is
Just because we want something doesn't mean that they'll know what we want
Just because we're frustrated with something doesn't mean that they'll know what's the problem
We can't take them for granted

It's not just the men
This includes everyone out there
Just because she's your bestfriend doesn't mean that she'll know what you want, like, hate, love
Just because he's your brother doesn't mean that he'll know what to do when you feel down
Just because
Just because
Just because

"Just because" is but a paltry reason to make you assume that that person's a psychic and knows you inside-out

Put yourself in their shoes before you assume any more
Stop taking people, things and what not for granted

But then again
We take people for granted,
People take us for granted;
Whether we like it or not,
Unintentionally or not.
It's just the way life is.

I.LOVE.QUOTES (Especially Love quotes)
and therefore, I spend my whole time searching for them.
Those I think actually mean something.
Well, they all do XP
So, yar..

Love
"Relationships--of all kinds--are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold onto some of it, but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively, and the relationship slips away and is lost."
-Kaleel Jamison

"Truly loving another means letting go of all expectations. It means full acceptance, even celebration of another's personhood."
-Karen Casey

"If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
-Mother Theresa

"We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly."
-- Anonymous

"The way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost."
-- G. K. Chesterton

"Absence diminishes small loves and increases great ones, as the wind blows out the candle and blows up the bonfire."
-- François de La Rouchefoucauld

"Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that."
-- Michael Leunig

"Absence diminishes small loves and increases great ones, as the wind blows out the candle and blows up the bonfire."
-- François de La

" 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all."
-- Alfred, Lord Tennyson, In Memoriam, 1850

"Love without reason lasts the longest."
-- Unknown

A man reserves his true and deepest love not for the species of woman in whose company he finds himself electrified and enkindled,
but for that one in whose company he may feel tenderly drowsy.

* George Jean Nathan

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind;
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
* William Shakespeare

'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
* Lord Tennyson

There is no remedy for love but to love more.
* Henry David Thoreau

"Within you I lose myself
Without you I find myself
Wanting to be lost again."
-Unknown

"We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive. Where every sense is heightened, every emotion is magnified, our everyday reality is shattered and we are flying into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, an afternoon. But that doesn't diminish its value. Because we are left with memories that we treasure for the rest of our lives."
-Unknown

We conceal it from ourselves in vain--we must always love something. In those matters seemingly removed from love, the feeling is secretly to be found, and man cannot possibly live for a moment without it.
* Blaise Pascal
